Setting up and playing takes less than two minutes:

  • Set Up the Cards: Place the Scenario Cards face-down in one pile and distribute 3 to 5 Advice Cards to every player. Keep the remaining Advice Cards face-down as a draw pile.
  • Pick the First Judge: Choose one person to be the judge for the round.
  • Read the Disaster: The Disaster Master draws a card from the Scenario pile and reads the holiday catastrophe out loud to the group.
  • Submit Bad Advice: Every other player picks the absolute worst, most hilarious Advice Card from their hand to fix that specific disaster and passes it face-down to the judge.
  • Pick the Winner: The judge shuffles the submitted advice, reads them all out loud, and selects the most ridiculously terrible solution. The player who submitted the winning card earns a point.
  • Rotate and Repeat: Everyone draws back up to a full hand of Advice Cards, the player to the left becomes the new judge, and a new round begins!
