19 Easter Minute to Win It Games for the Whole Family

Once the Easter egg hunt is over, kids usually have a ton of energy and nowhere to put it. Instead of letting the sugar rush take over, engage them and your whole family into some fun minute to win it games.

The reason why I simply love minute to win it games is because they are fast and require supplies you probably already in your kitchen or your kid’s Easter basket.

This list has 19 Easter game ideas your whole family can participate and infuse some friendly competition.

Easy Easter Egg Games

These games can be played at any time, when you’re looking for activities during spring break, during Easter week or during a big family gathering on Easter weekend.

1. The Great Egg Stack

Easter egg stack game for the whole family

The Game: Give each player a pile of plastic egg halves, who then would have 60 seconds to see how many egg halves they can stack on top of each other.

Because the edges are curved, the tower gets wobbly fast, usually ending in a big crash.

Supplies needed: A timer and plastic egg halves. If you want to mark a “starting zone” for each player, you can tape down the cutest bunny paws from my Easter Bunny Printable post, as a colorful base for their tower.

2. Easter Egg Toss

The Game: Line up three Easter baskets at varying distances. Players are given a handful of plastic eggs and must try to put in each basket from a distance before within one minute.

Since plastic eggs are light it helps if you put a small piece of candy or a coin inside the eggs to give them some weight for throwing.

To make it harder for older kids, you can assign different point values to each basket.

Supplies needed: Three Easter baskets and a dozen plastic eggs.

The Game: Take 12 or more plastic egg halves and hide a small matching item or sticker inside each pair. Turn the halves face down on the table. Players have 60 seconds to flip them over and find all the matching sets.

Supplies needed: Plastic eggs and a pack of drinking straws.

5. Egg Blow

The Game: Line up empty plastic eggs at one end of a long table. Using only a straw, players must blow air against the egg to move it across the finish line at the other end.

Supplies Needed: Shoe or Tissue Box, small plastic eggs, belt or string.

7. Egg-Head

The Game: Players must place a plastic egg on top of their head and walk from one side of the room to the other within a minute.
