I see why Hygge is so popular; with company and comfort, one feels so loved and taken care off. Just the snuggle of a warm blanket is enough to make me happy. 🙂

Love the idea of hygge, it sounds so comforting! I would like to incorporate more hygge traditions into my daily routine, as I’m constantly busy and it’s not a great feeling.

What a great explanation of “hygge” , such a comforting concept. I am Dutch, we have a similar word “gezellig” which is not the exact same concept, but it includes things like “hanging out with friends at your home, not worrying about perfection, but sharing whatever people bring for this potluck” or just a cozy environment. Even going out to eat with friends would be gezellig.
Thanks for a wonderful post!
